London events photographer

Over the past three years, as well as working as a wedding photographer, I've also worked as a London events photographer. This began primarily in my previous full time job as a picture editor for Conde Nast digital, based in Vogue House in London. Frequently I would be sent out to capture events for Vogue, House & Garden, GQ, Tatler and Wired among others.

Since moving into photography full time in 2016, I've returned to a number of those titles as a London based events photographer. I captured my 5th Wired conference, Wired 2016, last year, and was also sent to Paris by GQ to capture Victoria's Secret backstage (which I also shot back in 2014 when the show was in London).  In addition to these (and my wedding business), I've also worked shooting events for other photographers and individual clients such as All Star Lanes, King & McGaw, Matches, Soho House and many others.

I tend to work on a brief, though I can photograph both the attendees and create a strong sense of atmosphere, skills honed as a wedding photographer over the years. Working as a picture editor for over 10 years, including 8 years with the UK's biggest lifestyle and fashion publisher Conde Nast, this gives me a critical edge in what the client wants editorially. I am able to create images that clients would wish to publish, as well as give a brief a narrative structure that makes sense to their readership.

Whilst all events are different, I am able to deliver the images fully edited to the client within hours of the event finishing. I am also able to edit onsite, whether sending images to agencies such as Getty or contributing to live on the spot reporting as I have done numerous times with a number of Wired conferences.
